This is actually a film, not a video. It was made by a 19-year-old student in the Harvard film program with limited financial resources using 35mmm film cameras because video options did not exist at the time. As you say, Jaki's genius and artistry does indeed shine through. The performance footage, integrated with interviews and Jaki's own home movies,
make it a compelling portrait and it is fortunate that this documentary has survived to be appreciated by future generations in spite of its technical limitations.
